Fast feet, flair and flicksSUPPLIED Tokoroa High School Students take part in the 2018 Bay of Plenty Futsal Championships. The Tokoroa High School Football Academy took three teams to the Bay of Plenty Futsal Championships recently. Academy director Dean Tereu said during the Tauranga-based competition the students were exposed to a "fantastic" level of indoor football with fast feet, tricks and flicks the name of the game. The five aside game, played with a smaller ball than outdoor football, encourages youngsters to show flair, improves their techniques and ability to play in tight spaces. "We have some very exciting potential here at Tokoroa High and the long term benefits of playing Futsal will spill over into our outdoor football."
