Fasil City beat Ethio Electric 2-1 on Friday to enhance their chances of finishing strong in the BetKing Ethiopa Premier League, while, Adama City produced a surprise 3-0 win over Ethiopian Insurance. Ethiopian Insurance came out smoking in the second half, and they put Adama City under a great deal of pressure. However, a resilient Adama City came back strongly late in the game and struck not once, but twice. Biniam Ayiten increased the tally to 2-0 for Adama City on 78 minutes. The win sees Adama City rise to sixth position on 40 points, while Ethiopian Insurance will finish third no matter the outcome of remaining games this season.
