Farmers given avenue to voice out dissatisfaction over new FOA rules - Nation

BENTONG: The Farmers' Organisation Authority (FOA) will go down to branches at every level in districts and states to better explain the newly gazetted amendments to the FOA rules. FOA chairman Datuk Mazlan Aliman is aware that many branches are against the new amendments but said the dissatisfactions are temporary. Mazlan said the FOA will look into every criticism it receives from dissatisfied branches. Out of the five, one must represent young farmers and another must be a representative of women farmers. A few branches were dissatisfied with the new ruling saying that the ministerial appointments out numbered those appointed at annual general meetings.
