Jitender not only married the woman but also joined her in the fight for justice. "His wife said other rape survivors were not as fortunate and face many hardships besides the trauma of being violated. He told TOI, "She can join the judicial services or as a lawyer can help other rape survivors. Jitender said the case was shifted to Jind and rest of the accused were arrested. Since the accused are well off, Neeraj and his associates even offered Rs 70 lakh to reach a compromise in the case.
