LUCENA CITY–A 43-year-old farmer was shot dead by another farmer, who had earlier threatened to kill him, in San Francisco town in Quezon province on Tuesday. A report from the Quezon police headquarters, said Benito Velasco, was drinking water in their kitchen in Barangay Silongin when he was shot by Jeric Camacho, also a resident of the same village, around 5 p.m.Velasco suffered a fatal bullet wound on his chest and was rushed to the Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital in Catanauan town, but was declared dead on arrival.
