A man was rescued from his farm on Anzac Day after a pig he thought was dead bit his hand. A man was rescued from his farm in the remote Marlborough Sounds after a wild pig bit his hand. The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter was called to the incident in Clova Bay at about 9.10am on Saturday. A helicopter spokesman said he understood the farmer shot a wild pig on his farm. "He wasn't out there hunting, he was just out in his own paddock and he shot a pig."
