Manchester United have sacked Louis Van Gaal. Louis van Gaal has been sacked as manager of Manchester United, with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho set to be named as his replacement. Earlier, media reports had suggested that certain 'influential' senior players in the side have lost faith in Van Gaal. Van Gaal had a dismal season with Manchester United with the former Champions dropping to fifth place, while they were looking good to finish in the top three at the start of the season. In a report from BBC , Jose Mourinho is also expected to replace the Dutchman at United.
