The Saskatchewan Rush lost 15-14 in overtime to the Georgia Swarm in Saturday's championship game. Fans expressed shock as the Rush pulled their goalie on the last play. The Rush had hoped to tie the Georgia Swarm in Game 2 of the National Lacrosse League best-of-three championship at the SaskTel Centre Saturday. Miles Thompson scored his second goal of the game in overtime as Georgia downed the Saskatchewan Rush to win the final series 2-0. Randy Staats had four goals and three assists and Lyle Thompson added three goals and four helpers for the Swarm.
