Toronto’s Bay St. was congested with honking cars and a flood of fans in red and white hooting, hollering, and reveling after Canada's World Cup of Hockey win Thursday night at the Air Canada Centre. While fans had doubt in the first two periods of the game and Team Europe held a solid one-point lead, Canada bounced back with two goals in the final few minutes of the game. It was 10-year-old Caitlin Roach's first game at the ACC and, shaking her father Mike's hand in excitement, described the win as “awesome!”“The look on the other team's face was priceless,” she said. Europe’s Zdeno Chara managed the lone goal for Europe, which led from the early minutes of the first period until Canada’s Patrice Bergeron finally evened up the score at 1-1 with less than three minutes to go in the final period.
