(CNN) Six people were ejected from the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday as the third Test between Australia and India was overshadowed by allegations of racist abuse. The Indian team lodged an official complaint after bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj complained of hearing racist slurs while fielding near the boundary rope on Saturday, the third day of the match, Reuters reported. Allegations of racist abuse also halted play during the Test on Sunday, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC). "Cricket Australia (CA) asked NSW Police and security staff to remove a group from the crowd." The Indian cricket board did not immediately respond to CNN's request for comment.
