By Paul ZiobroFannie Mae President David Benson plans to retire from the company next year after more than two decades with the government-sponsored mortgage company. Chief Executive Priscilla Almodovar will take on the additional title of president following Benson's departure, which is expected by mid-2024. Almodovar will directly manage Fannie Mae's two business units: single-family and multifamily.
