Fan attacks player, forcing Swedish league match abandoned

JONKOPING, Sweden (AP) " A masked fan ran on the pitch and attacked a player, forcing a Swedish top-tier league match to be abandoned. Ostersunds goalkeeper Aly Keita was struck by a fan in the 90th minute of a game away to Jonkopings Sodra on Monday evening. Sweden's top referee, Jonas Eriksson, took the teams off the pitch and later abandoned the match. Earlier this season, a fireworks incident led to a 3-0 loss being awarded against IFK Goteborg when a home league match was stopped. That match was abandoned, also by referee Eriksson, after a linesman who was also near the exploding firework was shocked by the incident.
