Devonte Mulitalo was sentenced to 11 months' home detention at the Auckland District Court. It's every parent's worst nightmare - a sexual predator disguised as a youth worker. In July 2017, the girl's mother received a phone call from Youthtown, saying there had been an exchange of inappropriate texts between a youth worker and her daughter. Two days later, the victim told her dad Mulitalo's actions were much more sinister and police were called. SUPPLIED Devonte Mulitalo posted a picture to his Instagram account a few weeks before he was sentenced.
