Barney, a nine-year-old boxer, was being walked by twin sisters Charlotte and Natalie Mills when the horrific accident happened on Sunday afternoon. He fell down a stretch of the River Wey in the middle of Wisley and Pyrford in Surrey. Describing the tragedy, Charlotte, 33, told SurreyLive : "The banks are quite steep and there is a downwards slope. As there are so many fallen trees and debris in the water they believe Barney's body won't have travelled far. He used to follow us around and used to go with a dog walker in the week and she really loved him.
