The family were all looking forward to spend the holidays with their aunt and cousin who were coming from Tehran. Relatives and family members of the nine people — of whom five were killed while four sustained serious injuries — in a car accident in East Delhi's Mayur Vihar area on Wednesday, were inconsolable outside the mortuary at the Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital. The family were all looking forward to spend the holidays with their aunt and cousin who were coming from Tehran. Qamar's son Abbas Mohammad Zaidi (16) was the lone survivor in the tragedy and was later stated to be out of danger. Ali's father Kalbey Abbas Zaidi works in a Tehran radio station and the family would often come to spend holidays back home.
