The train passenger stabbed to death in Surrey in front of his 14-year-old son has been named as Lee Pomery. A statement released by his family paid tribute to Pomery, who would have celebrated his 52nd birthday on Saturday. The statement, released through British Transport Police (BTP) almost 24 hours after the killing, said: “He was a devoted family man and did everything for his family. The statement came hours after police hunting the man who killed Pomery announced they had arrested a suspect. “We are continuing our appeal for information and I would urge anyone who was onboard the train to contact us as soon as possible,” Blackburn added.
