The family of Allan Makona, the man who disrupted the farewell ceremony of the late President Mwai Kibaki at Nyayo Stadium claiming to be his grandson, has come out to speak about their kin. According to the family, Makona acted so because of his appreciation to the former head of state for bringing free education that gave him a chance to learn. Speaking to the press at her home on Sunday, Concephetar Makona, the mother, said that his son left home in 2016. The mother said that in 2018, Makona came home with his acting crew, Pome Africa productions, an organization that presents high school set books. He asked the government to release him adding that the family has no money to bail him out.
