A family of six, on Thursday evening, escaped death by the whiskers following the collapse of a two-storey building at Amawbia bypass, in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. Tribune Online gathered that the building owned by an engineer totally collapsed on another residential building and a shop. It was gathered that among the six members of the trapped family, four sustained minor injuries while two were seriously injured and hospitalised. A tenant, Lady Ogechukwu Ndu, frowned at the action of the owner of the collapsed building, whom she said absconded on hearing the incident.
