Bevan Wright’s family are appealing for information about what happened to him, 13 years after he disappeared. Thirteen years after he disappeared the family of a Manawatū shearer are desperate to find out what happened to him and give him a farewell. Wright still hasn’t been officially declared dead and his family haven’t been able to hold a funeral nor a memorial service. Knowing what happened was important for the family, Hart said. “One of my fears is that once the people who did it are gone, we haven’t got anything.”Down the years, Wright’s family have been told, and have developed their own, theories to fill the void.
