THE wife of an accident victim is pleading for financial assistance to cover daily expenses of caring for her husband and family. Homemaker Lai Choon Wan, 41, said her husband Chan Wah Heng, 52, the family’s sole breadwinner, was left bedridden following the accident last June. Lai, from Taman Menglembu Impiana Adril, said the family’s monthly expenses was about RM2,000. She said family and friends raised about RM10,000 last year but the money is almost gone. Shan De Charity Home chairman Foong Chee Seng, who visited the family and donated RM2,350, said they were trying to collect funds to help the family.
