The report states the bullet was fired from a low-caliber gun, probably a Ceska pistol. The family of Ayub Kaukau shot dead during the June 6 anti-IEBC protests in Kisumu will sue the police to compel them to give them a post mortem report. He said they have not given them an autopsy report and urged the Independent Policing Oversight Authority to help them. The Star has seen the autopsy report which states that Kaukau, 28, was killed by a bullet to the chest which ruptured his heart and lungs. Ombima hit out at Kisumu county commissioner John Elungata for claiming Kaukau was killed by a metal pellet hurled from a sling.
