A second, unidentified voice on a CBC North podcast has been identified by the speaker's family members. Oleepika Anaviapik Soucie, describes herself as a family friend and cousin of the late Koonoo Ipirq. Annie Ipirq, Koonoo Ipirq's daughter, right, and June Shappa, Koonoo Ipirq's grand-daughter. Annie Ipirq is Koonoo Ipirq's daughter, and has been living in Iqaluit for more than two decades. "It's a good reminder to never forget these stories," she told Powder in Inuktitut.
