The government had decided to convert 170 PHCs into FHCs in the first phase of Aardram. Till date 54 FHCs had been completed and inaugurated, while the work on some 100 FHCs was on. Ms. Shylaja appealed to the panchayat presidents to be more proactive and to ensure people’s participation and cooperation to improve the health facilities.
