Graeme King, left, and Peter Meyer set up for the Temuka-Geraldine A&P show at the Winchester Showgrounds on Saturday. A family focus for the annual Temuka-Geraldine A&P Show has seen an increase in attendance in the past few years and this expected to be no different on Saturday. Entry numbers are up in most sections of this year's 145th day-long agricultural and pastoral show at the Winchester Showgrounds, show secretary Phillipa Sanders said. Between 6000 and 7000 people flocked to the Winchester Showgrounds last year and Sanders expects numbers to be good once again this year. She said the committee has focussed on making the show a "big family day out" and this has paid off with good attendance numbers in recent years.
