A family in Kiambu County is seeking justice after their daughter was allegedly murdered and her body dumped inside a borehole. Mercy Wanjiru Mwangi, a 26-year-old who was interning at a local company went missing on October 20. Mwangi also added that the family does not agree with the postmortem report, noting that the borehole in which his daughter's body was found, was secured from the outside, ruling out suicide. “The borehole from which her body was retrieved had a lid which was secured by a small wire from the outside. We are wondering how Wanjiru entered the hole and locked herself in it from outside,” Mwangi said.
