CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: A family of four was charred to death in a fire that razed a residential house on Wednesday in a downtown village here. Village chief Eldo Casiño of Barangay 22 identified the victims as Ador Angayag, his wife Juliet and their grown-up son and daughter, whose names were not immediately known. The village chief said he last saw Ador Angayag, who went to the village hall asking for assistance while their residential house caught fire on Wednesday night. “I thought Ador Angayag would come back, but that was the last time I saw him and never thought that he and his family members [would be] charred to death,” he said. According to Casiño, after the fire incident, nobody reported to the village or the Police about missing persons.
