A case in point was reported by Stuff earlier this week that clearly showed the incompetence of the Family Court and its holier-than-thou attitude. So, instead of returning an abducted child back to her legal custodian – her father – our Family Court awarded custody to the abductor – her mother. However, the police returned the child to her mother while the Family Court ordered the father not to have contact with her. The Court of Appeal noted that the Family Court should have made a return order back in 2017 and sent the child back to Europe. Yet he was shafted by the Family Court, police and the Court of Appeal.
