Now, the singer-turned-actor reveals that he has been working on a ‘serious’ project. In 2015, the Kashmiri singer was also seen alongside actor Katrina Kaif in the song Afghan Jalebi in filmmaker Kabir Khan’s movie Phantom. Talking about being a part of this song, Qazi says, “I had been rejecting offers before performing in that song as well. Of all composers and singers in Bollywood, Qazi admits that he is only in touch with Arjit Singh ( his co-contestant in Fame Gurukul), who is still his good friend. Qazi won the show Fame Gurukul- along with another contestant Ruprekha Banerjee in year 2005.
