BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said no national election will be held in Bangladesh without party Chairperson Khaleda ZIa. He made the statement while briefing the media in front of the National Press Club on Monday. He said: “No national election will be held without BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. They chanted different slogans demanding immediate release of Khaleda Zia, reports the UNB. Earlier, BNP leaders and activists staged demonstrations on Friday and Statuary protesting Khaleda’s conviction all over the country, including in the capital, amid obstruction by police .
