According to the Director of DSS, Osun State, 16 people have been identified as victims of the suspect, and Adelabu was said to have collected a sum of N3.15m from eight of them. It was also learnt that the 62-year-old suspect defrauded people from Osun, Ondo, Oyo and Kwara states. While responding to questions from journalists, Adelabu said hard times led him to the crime.
