Regarding your editorial “‘Faithless Electors’ at the Supreme Court” (May 13), one can only sympathize with the contortions now required of staunch constitutional originalists as they recoil from the idea that state electors should have discretion in voting for the president, as the Framers clearly intended (see Sai Prakash’s same-day op-ed “‘Faithless’ Electors Are Faithful to the Constitution”).
