MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in parts of Mindanao on Thursday, the weather bureau said. The rest of the country is covered by the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan. Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar will have cloudy skies with light rain. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather and isolated light rain, Pagasa said. Cool weather is also expected to continue.
