The arrest was premised by a statement he made on social media about President Mahama allegedly impregnating the daughter of Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II and questioning his HIV status. According to him, his assertion had been misconstrued and described as below the belt by many, including the National Security, hence all he could do was to retract. The NPP stalwart was released from the National Security cells after 48 hours of being there. He is to report to the regional National Security office on Friday to continue the case.
