File - Political Activist Ahmed DomaCAIRO - 8 January 2019: The retrial of political activist Ahmed Doma has started a year ago. Cairo Criminal Court will give the sentence on Wednesday. Doma was convicted of committing violence and sentenced to 25 years in prison.The crimes included in the arraignment date back to December 2011 when clashes occurred in front of the cabinet and the parliament. The witness testified that the man in the video is Doma.The number of defendants in the lawsuit is 231. Only Doma appealed the verdict while the rest have been sentenced in absentia.
