Share TweetBy MB OnlineFacebook took down 200 pages, groups and accounts supposedly linked with a person who was reportedly part of the team of social media strategists of Duterte’s campaign for alleged “coordinated inauthentic behavior.”In their statement Facebook said that 67 pages, 68 accounts and 40 groups as well as 25 Instagram accounts were taken down Friday. “Today (Friday) we removed 200 Pages, Groups and accounts that engaged in coordinated inauthentic behavior on Facebook and Instagram in the Philippines, misleading others about who they were and what they were doing,” the statement from Nathaniel Gleicher, head of FB’s Cybersecurity Policy read. We’re taking down these Pages and accounts based on their behavior, not the content they posted. Facebook further also said that they identified the said accounts and pages through their ongoing internal investigation.
