The Nikkei Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 50.3 from 51.2 in the previous month, showed Wednesday’s data. They were also net sellers in August and September, though they did buy Rs1,922.57 crore worth of shares in October. India’s leap in ease of doing businessIndia has jumped 30 spots to number 100 in terms of ease of doing business. Mint reported on Thursday that the top five manufacturers of passenger vehicles showed a 3.7% rise in units sold, year-on-year. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, Honda Cars India Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd collectively sold 238,838 units, showed company data.
