Still, Zuckerberg cautioned the threat is never “going to go away,” pointing to recent disinformation campaigns from countries including Iran and China. The online operation aimed its fire at several Democratic candidates, including former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Sen. Kamala Harris of California. With those changes, Facebook also said Monday it would expand a program meant to protect candidates and their staff from security threats.
