Facebook Inc.’s Messenger chat platform stopped working for several hours for some users Tuesday morning, a technical hiccup as the company ramps up its focus on person-to-person communication. Facebook said it started seeing an increased error rate as of 6 a.m. ET on Tuesday. In a statement sent at 9:25 a.m., the company said it had fixed the issue and apologized for any inconvenience.
