From ending the long wait for a Premier League title, becoming world champions for the first time and, as on Wednesday, reaching 200 wins as Liverpool manager in record time, much of Jurgen Klopp's reign has been unprecedented. In that respect, it echoes what Shankly bequeathed Paisley, and the subsequent inheritance of Fagan and Dalglish. And a new manager will always want to put his own imprint on a squad as soon as possible. But perhaps for the first time since Dalglish took over in the summer of 1985, the incoming boss won't need to oversee an overhaul. Klopp was, and continues to be, the perfect Liverpool manager for FSG.
