Parents of Udgam school who admitted their children in 2018-19 by paying a whopping admission fee have a reason to rejoice. The Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) has ordered the school authorities to refund the admission fee. The school had proposed to charge Rs 1,51,538 for the nursery, but the FRC has approved only Rs 80,844. However, we still face the loss of admission fees and the fees for 2018-19 does not match increasing expenses. At least the order is such that the school will not have to shut down," Manan Choksi, Managing Director, Udgam School for Children said.
