The fire broke out on Thursday afternoon at FR Tower. The Fire Service and Civil Defence department has also formed a five-member committee to investigate the fire incident. Furthermore, Ministry of Disaster Management has formed an eight-member probe body to investigate the Banani fire. The Housing and Public Works Ministry has also formed a seven-member probe body to look into whether the approval of the FR Tower building design and its subsequent construction was faulty or not.
