Soon we’ll have The Runaways, another X-Men-based show existing who knows where in the universe, but first we have The Gifted on FOX. Whether The Gifted is supposed to be connected to the movies or not, I have no idea. She’s saved by Eclipse (Sean Tale), Thunderbird (Blair Redford) and Polaris (Emma Dumont), though Polaris is captured in the attempt. The von Struckers were a fixture in HYDRA, but that’s the MCU and far, far away from FOX’s X-Men. FOXWhat I find The Gifted lacks is a sort of style to call its own.
