The Young Lions ran out victorious in the competition, held in India, after winning a tempestuous final 5-2, coming from behind to defeat their Spanish counterparts. In December Brewster, who top-scored at the competition, alleged that he had heard Wolves starlet Gibbs-White called "monkey" by a Spanish opponent. FIFA announced in January that it had received a complaint from the Football Association over the incident and were investigating. However, following "a thorough investigation", FIFA have dismissed all charges, citing a "lack of sufficient evidence".
