The MetLife Stadium in New JerseyFIFA has announced the World Cup 2026 final will be held in New Jersey. The MetLife Stadium - home of the New York Giants and New York Jets NFL teams - will host final on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The world governing body of football says the competition will be the "biggest-ever" World Cup. FIFA also confirmed the tournament will begin on June 11 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, Mexico. Canada meanwhile will open their tournament on June 12 in Toronto as they host the iconic cup for the first time.
