Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) made another arrest of a crucial facilitator involved in the Libya migrant boat wreck incident. According to the FIA spokesperson, the operation targeted a suspicious transaction from the bank account of Adil Mumtaz, another key facilitator currently in custody. The arrested individual received Rs 1 million to facilitate the illegal migration of a citizen to Italy through his human trafficking network. Earlier this month, the FIA had confirmed the arrest of Adil Mumtaz, a key facilitator in the Libya migrant boat wreck tragedy. The then-Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, directed authorities to investigate the human trafficking leading to the tragic shipwreck involving Pakistani nationals.
