Dr Ahmed Danfulani, the Director, FCT Health Insurance Scheme (FHIS), has commended the FCT residents over their positive responses to the scheme. Danfulani gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja. He, however, said that the little challenge confronting the scheme was in the area of information dissemination about scheme to the people in the rural communities of the FCT. “I will not call what the healthcare providers are calling a challenge to be a challenge; some of them need to check their attitude toward the enrollees,” he said. Danfulani said that payment had also been made to all the healthcare providers participating in the scheme which could have been a challenge, but the agency was able to manage the system.
