SAN JUAN, Manila — The FEU Lady Tamaraws emerged victorious against a young NU Lady Bulldogs squad in four sets, 22-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-12, at the FilOil Flying V Centre, Saturday. The Lady Tamaraws relied on the offense of rookie Lyka Ebon, who tallied a team-high 13 points. FEU looked to dominate at the start of every set, but the Lady Bulldogs almost always make a run to close in on the Lady Tamaraws. Unwilling to let NU repeat their first set win, the Lady Tamaraws held their own to grind out wins in the second and third set. The Lady Tamaraws dominated the offense and came away with a 25-12 win to seal the match.
