FEU makes quick work of NU to boost semis bidMANILA, Philippines – The FEU Lady Tamaraws solidified their bid for a Final Four berth after disposing of the NU Lady Bulldogs in straight sets, 25-21, 25-19, 25-22, in the 81st UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Wednesday. The Morayta-based squad registered their eighth win and improved their semis chances. A balanced team effort paced FEU over the error-prone NU squad. Veterans Jer Malabanan and Heather Guino-o led the Lady Tamaraws’ offense. NU slid to a 3-9 win-loss record.
