Share TweetBy Analou De VeraThe Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned the public against the consumption of seven unregistered food products found in the market. “(These) food products have not gone through the registration process of the agency and have not been issued the proper authorization in the form of Certificate of Product Registration,” said the FDA. “Since unregistered food products have not gone through evaluation and testing process of the FDA, the agency cannot guarantee their quality and safety,” it said. The FDA warned business establishments not to distribute the said products “until they have already been covered by the appropriate authorization (product registration), otherwise, regulatory actions and sanctions shall be strictly pursued.”
