The FDA’s emergency use authorization allows for “virtually guided at- home use” of Abbott’s BinaxNOWTM COVID-19 Ag Card rapid test for the Coronavirus, the company announced Wednesday afternoon. “Abbott is bringing BinaxNOW, the most affordable and widely distributed rapid test into the home, where the result is delivered in minutes without the need to send it out for processing,” the company said. “We have a whole new set of channels,” Ford said in an interview during the Forbes event Dec. 3.
